Today i travelled via railway, instead of the metro.
I ventured forth into Sha Tin and Che Kung Temple.
The main reason why i went to Che Kung Temple Station was because the Heritage Musuem was there. I wasn't that interested in going there, and it costed $10, and i wanted to use my 7day pass to its fullest potential ( i have even less interest in giong to the coastal defence musuem 6_6 ) But ho, i went. Going from the Che Kung Temple Station, i had to cross the bridge and river to the other side.
Here's the entrance to the Heritage Musuem
Today also happened to be some excursion for lil kids. Primary age. And there were LOTS of them. I also found this cool pattern box on the wall thingy too. I don't know if it has a purpose but it looks nice.
Anyways, part of this musuem has a chinese opera section, and lots of the costumes were there. i'll put some here, and you can check the photobucket link afterwards.
After that, there was a bit more of the historic village day in HK, reminded me a bit of the musuem of history. And the artefacts area reminded me abit of the musuem of art xD
They even had a jewellery section. It was quiet too (kids weren't in here, i'm not sure if its because they can't, or i just chose a good time to enter that exhibitoin)
Some raw jade.
Here's a pic i find amusing. Those who can see why might find it amusing too.
I also found a nifty treble cleff there made from CDs.
These looked nice, i'll whack it on too xD
I also found a turtle while comming back from the musuem across the river =D
After that, i returned to Sha Tin to visit that big super mall again. But before that, i found a Snoopy Land =D
Check the photobucket folder for more pics
So onto the plaza
I had finally found something with poor grammar -_-. Since HK has been under british rule before for a long time, their english is decent. However, i had found some dodgy grammar >D Funnily enough, right before i took this pic someone just sat themselves right on it. I didn't care if they sat there or not afterwards, but i wanted that pic xD
It's a fairly large mall, i'd reckon its larger than Festival Walk, where i done most of my shopping. This is along the walkways connecting it to its other parts.
I took a walk along the walkway to see where it'd lead me. I found a park with exercise booths, i found a dry waterfeature utterly deprived of water and some nicely sized courtyards that have stalls along the sides.
My apologies for some of the poor quality pics, it was in the noon, and i couldn't see the view screen of the cam properly.
While going to the rest room on my return, i found these lil interesting pics along the wall. As well as this massive flower seat. I only managed to phototake one because the rest were occupied.
Again, my apologise for the amount of pictures, i took more than i realised -_-
However, dinner is served now, so i'm gonna eat before i starve.
