hot water tanks.

well, after another 10 years since the fixing of our hot water tank. it has decided to fail a component, thus rendering our house with no easy access to hot water.

In light due to efficiency, our house had a gravity fed system. thus requiring less power for hot water to run. However, in light of modern times, this was phased out for the more modern hot water pump or solar hot water. With the tank no longer in the roof, but either outside the house or ontop of the roof. This in affect allows easier installation and access for maintenace. at the cost of efficiency.

So now, we have decided to 'modern' up on house. By installing a hot water pump.
In the event you are asking "Why not Solar you enemy of the earth!".
Well.. accordingly to feng shui of sorts, it is not good to have solar panels on your roof because it opens it up allowing good energy to escape and bad ones to flow in. How accurate this is, i don't know. I'm not feng shui master. I'm no academic of Feng Shui. I'm no practioner of Feng Shui. I don't have the spiritual senses to consciously detect anything beyond the 4th dimension. Non the less, installing a solar panel by putting a hole in your roof is no good.

Thus, leaving us to a hot water pump system. Due to our recent 'free' installation of insulation, we had lost that extra rebate -_-
*sigh*

thus further indebt we go.

But these 2 weeks of old fashion wasing. (Boiling hot water, mixing with cold water, scrub and rinse etc....) i believe has reduced our water bill a little bit =D afterall, the amount of water i use in a shower is frigging ridiculous. But being a stupid human, i shall still have hot long showers that burn and feel great.
perhaps this might be difference if i start using the ensuite.

Non the less, hot water is now available, and in good time as the weather is slightly cooling more at night now.

Anyways, i need to go. my thesis is awaiting me. fark.
