Prodding and Pushing.

Well, my semester is nearing its end and i should be finishing off my thesis.
But non the less, i came across a few more anime ^^;;
- Kowarekake no Orgel OVA
- Oblivion Island: Haruka and the Magic Mirror
- Angel Beats!

Looks like my list to blog will be growing >_<

Not to mention the new upcomming winter season is approaching, from what i've checked, nothing is new except maybe Sekirei.
I might also decide to post on mangas later on too. As i'm actually reading more manga than watching anime now-a-days. Too bad i don't keep a list of what i read.

I've also started reading some StarWars books. All thanks to me listening to Duel of Fates again. Wonders happen when you listen to the right type of music XD

On a note, I apparently won a scarf or muffler.
And if only this winning streak would carry onto lotto xDDD

Anyways, that is my small update for you guys to know that i'm not dead or missing, and that there are stuff to look forward to. Until then, please enjoy TAM's little performances, you can find him at Youtube with the name violinpiano2. he's the president of TAM.
^____^

For those who are lazy and wish for a link, i smack you with an air filled balloon. xD

Future Updates.

I've realised that i actually haven't posted a lot.
So something to look forward to in the nearby future is my posts on
Kara no Kyoukai.
Hellsing Ultimate (OVA 7 is cool!! Seras has AWAKENED!! >D >D >D!!!!! )
Aria (the manga)

Possibly Railgun, Tales of Symphonia, The Five Star Stories(movie).

I might suggest you follow me on GoogleReader. I tend to be more active there, sharing interesting stuff.

But over here, i'm "actively" posting comments and thoughts, where GoogleReader i just share whatever i find interesting. One of them was a Starwars Death Star in WaterMelon mode. XDD and other random news, e.g. Android being ported onto the iPhone, Steven Hawkin's thought on contact with aliens, some guy getting a lifetime ban on iPads, some FailBlog stuff. etc...

So yes, while i've been actually posting less, i'm not actually dead. So keep in touch~

/swt

So.

it has been a very long while since i had last done anything in regards to blogging.

i believe i WAS suppose to mention i was in my exam mode, thus i would be quiet.
However, i never got around to it.
Then, when exams were over i was theoritically suppose to watch and catch up on anime.
However, that didn't really occur. my computer that was to use to watch anime had a power source problem.

However. once that was fixed, i was introduced to The Settlers: Rise of an Empire.

not to mention, we are short on staff at work. and i'm going out a bit more lately.
So. that in itself is pretty bad ^^;;

However, me posting this kind of update means something so to say.
i'm not entirely saying good bye to blogging, and it doesn't help that my anime watching has slowed. the two thigns i'm following from memory are A Certain Scientific Railgun. and NyanKoi.
i'm pretty sure i'm following other stuff. but obviously they're not leaving any type of impact. (nyankoi is a wtf-_- impact.)

On a side note. i DID watch two movies.
2012. and Paranormal Activity.

Due to my sensitivity to the world of spiritualism i'll decide to not post about Paranormal Activity.

Instead, i shall blog on, 2012.

2012. It is about how the world as we know of it will end.
Due to some natural alignment of planets in our little solar system, our planet got mutated and our crust is shifting. How plausible is this future? I do not know, i don't have enough knowledge in geoscience and particle physics.

either way, in watching this movie, i have one strong thing in my head.
Limousines are great at running away from natural destruction on man made environments. Even large scale things are built in China. Rich people are still being respected by paying for their sponsorships. (if the world is going to end, we know money is useless, so just take their money, say they'll get their tickets and just not let them on 6_6 save room for your scientists, engineers, and workers for crying out loud 6_6 so much for trying to make things efficient 6_6 )

Africa is the way to go. Its where we all (theoritically) came from, and thus it HAS to be good for our survival.

Now. i eagerly await for the next upcomming movie: Avatar.

Seasonal Lives

The Seasons of our Lives, by George Pan Koulouki.

This is an ebook that i was reading on and off. It dabbles into that our lives, like nature occurs in seasons. Like the earth has its summer, autumn, winter spring. Our lives also follow this pattern apparently.

He undergoes this theory by looking into the bibliographies of famous people and connects the dots to match the patterns. He even has took this little research into the common populace. Enough to convince him that this theory is true.

That in about every 16 to 18 years or so, our lives change in the perspective of happiness to sadness, good luck to bad luck. Of course, it doesn't drastically change from one to another, but like a sine curve, it peaks, then lowers then peaks then rises etc...

however just from that you can't be entirely convinced, so he also has found the other group, which work on the alternative.
Just like when the nothern hemisphere has its summer, the southern hemisphere has its winter. There are two lines of people just like that.

Its a fairly interesting read that i haven't actually finished due to my somewhat busy schedule and what not. But i do aim to finish it, as its got a summary of people's bibliography and what not.

This leads to do YOU think our lives are like that. Our bodies afterall come from here, so whats stopping it from following the same pattern?

Also, would you benefit from knowing that you're in a downslump in life, or a good ole high for the next few years in life?
That is if you can find which line you actually sit on.

None the less, an interesting read to pass the time. It also makes more use of my PDA xD
i feel a bit guilty in its low usage. but i can't use it to connect to my uniwide network -_-...

My Laptop has returned!

Wooot!!!

i had spent my laptop to warranty last week to get a battery replacement.
It had arrived on monday, but no one was home to sign it off. so it got redelivered today.
my first thought afte ri opened the package was
"OMG! THE BOX IS DIRTY!!! >__<!!!!
Yes correct. i am apalled at the handling of of my box. it is now dirty :(
yes, the MSI tapes do ruin the aesthetics. but the black spots on the box is more pressing.

Second. WOOT!! my laptop is now portable! =D
i can resume bringing it to uni. i was almost getting bored at uni with no laptop.
But befor ethat, i need to install all relevant programs.
i had formatted it beforehand.
This is, afterall my 'working' laptop.

my desktop is good for reading manga as usual, problem lies in anime *sigh*
i got no powerful enough computer to watch the (now almost becomming standard) 720p files. *sigh*

I still owe you guys a Eden of the East review.

Semester 2

Well, holidays are over. and i've realised i haven't touched this at all o_o
sorry my negligence.

However, from then till now, i've mostly been workign and going out, and catching up on some anime.

Finished Tayutama and Chrome Shelled Regios and K-On, as well as Eden of the East.
The first 3 aren't worth mentioning much.
though i might do a bit of a review of Eden of the East. or at least my opinions and thoguhts on it after.

i've also picked up a few manga during the holidays, and once again, i dislike catching up to manga(fairy tale, medaka box, the world god only knows, d.gray-man, hayate no combat butler, negima, beautypop, aiki, etc... ). it becomes so depressing ~_~

Sidenote: There was a solar eclipse today, viewable from China and the pacific ocean. I want to see one one day :(

Wow... a post!

Ya.... xD

it HAS been a while, the last seasons have been ending, a new season has been up. i've had tests and stuff.

i guess that has been the main reason why i haven't been blogging

As for the new season, i've somehow just been downloading and not actulaly watching. Except K-on, which has been very popular and even been dubbed as the successor of Lucky Star.

i've watched 3 episodes of K-on so far, i'm still finding lucky star in the lead. But lets see how it goes later on.

On another related note, i think ineed a new phone.
Any suggestions? (no iPhone, or HTC Dream)

Fansubbing: At its best.

While venturing through the other blogs, i came across a post from tj_han at riuva who came across a post at Yoroshiku anime blog.

http://kielmaru07.wordpress.com/2008/11/23/fansub/

its got some of the awkard fansubbing translations and errors, had a nice laugh at them, especially with the fansubber comparisons xD

Have fun with it.
